Wander the hollow with Fern, spot safe mushrooms, and dodge the poisonous lookalikes. Your basket fills one good mushroom at a time.
Move with WASD or arrow keys, or drag on the hollow. Press Space or tap Collect near a mushroom to pick it. Stand close to a tricky mushroom and Fern inspects it for you.
How to play
Move Fern around the hollow. Golden chanterelles, porcini, morels, and field buttons are safe to pick. Red fly agarics are always poison. Pale lookalikes copy a safe mushroom at a distance — get close and Fern inspects the mushroom, revealing a check for safe or a cross for poison.
Picking a poison mushroom the first time only earns a warning and marks it with a cross. Picking it again after the warning costs a strike. Three strikes, or dusk arriving before your basket is full, ends the run.

Mushroom Hollow is a cozy original game. Safe mushrooms are marked with a check when inspected, and poison mushrooms with a cross, so color is never the only clue. Play with sound off if you like — every sound has a visible message too.
