Tide the otter and Ripple the turtle cross the tide together. One holds the switch, the other crosses. Neither can finish alone.

How to Play
Player 1 is Tide the otter (teal, WASD). Player 2 is Ripple the turtle (yellow, arrow keys). Jump with W or Up. Stand on a lettered switch plate to raise its bridge: bridges marked A need plate A, bridges marked B need plate B. Every bridge has a plate on BOTH sides: one friend holds the near plate while the other crosses, then the crosser holds the far plate while the first friend crosses. Gaps are too wide to jump, so no single player can cross a bridge alone. When every shell is collected, BOTH players must reach the golden dock to clear the level. Falling in the water is a splash: you pop back to your start. Three splashes in one level ends the run, except in Relaxed Tide, where splashes never end a run.
Solo play: you control one friend at a time. Tap Swap (or Tab) to switch friends. Your partner bot walks to the nearest switch plate when you need a bridge, waits at a gap until you hold the far plate, and follows you otherwise. Press the switch plate yourself in 2-player mode: there is no latch, so a friend must keep standing on it.
Tips: Call out the bridge letter before you cross. Grab shells in one smooth run for a combo bonus. In Relaxed Tide, practise a level with no splash limit.

Controls: P1 WASD, P2 arrow keys, Tab swaps in Solo, P pauses, R resets the level. On touch, use the buttons above. Every bridge shows its plate letter, and every plate shows its pattern, so colour is never the only clue.
