About this game
Costume Night is a cheerful Halloween action game in the browser games collection: swap costumes mid-level to fly over pits, smash crates, slip through ghost walls, and open the matching doors on the way to the golden exit.
How to play
- Press Play Free Run, or Play Daily for the date-seeded level order.
- Move with arrow keys or WASD, or tap the on-screen pad.
- Swap costumes with keys 1, 2, 3 or the costume buttons: Flutterbat flies over pits, Smash Pumpkin smashes crates, Wisp Ghost slips through ghost walls.
- Walk into a colored door while wearing its matching costume to open it and score bonus points.
- Collect candy, reach the golden EXIT tile on all three levels, and check your recap, rank, and local top 5.
Tips
- A blocked move tells you exactly which costume you need, so read the hint line before backtracking.
- Crates and doors are worth bonus points, so smash and open everything before heading for the exit.
- Slow-mo slows each step down, which helps when you are learning a new level layout.
