About this game

Gridlock Waffle is a waffle word grid puzzle: swap adjacent letters and rotate whole rows and columns until every row spells a real word, with bonus points for columns that spell words too. Play the date-seeded Daily Waffle, practice at your own pace, or relax with free hints. It is a bright, family-friendly entry in puzzle games for daily word players.

How to play

1. Tap a letter tile, then tap an adjacent tile to swap them.
2. Tap Rotate beside a row to shift that row left, or Rotate under a column to shift it down.
3. Make every row spell a real word to solve the waffle; fewer moves means more points.
4. Columns that spell real words pay bonus points.
5. Play the Daily Waffle for the same date-seeded puzzle as everyone else that day.

Tips

• Rotation is the signature twist: one row rotate can move a stuck letter into the row where it belongs.
• Watch the Solved rows count and the green rows: a green row is already a real word, so leave it alone.
