Paint Tag Turf

About this game

Paint Tag Turf is a turf-tag arena game where you play Pippa the paint pup, racing bot rivals Bram and Tilly to cover the arena floor in your colour in this cheerful browser games pick for kids and families. Step on tiles to claim them, steal rival turf, chase golden star zones worth 5 points each, and grab rollers for a 3 by 3 splash. Try the date-seeded Daily Turf, a 45-second Free Run, or Relaxed first-to-60, and climb a career rank from Rookie to Legend.

How to play

1. Tap Play Free Run, Daily Turf, or Relaxed: First to 60.
2. Move with arrow keys, WASD, or the on-screen pad — every tile you step on turns your colour.
3. Golden star zones are worth 5 points each, so grab them, especially late in a close match.
4. Step on a yellow roller pickup to splash a 3 by 3 block in your colour.
5. Most paint when the buzzer sounds wins a timed match; in Relaxed, the first to 60 points wins.

Tips

• Your first step paints instantly, so head for the nearest golden star zone right away.
• Repainting steals rival turf — in the last 10 seconds, steal instead of chasing empty corners.
• Bots speed up slightly when you lead big in Free Run, so protect a lead by re-covering your golden zones.
• Relaxed has no clock: play patiently and hold the middle of the arena to cut off both bots.
