About this game

Pit Wall is a two-car race strategy game: plan both cars before the lights, then call pits, tyres and team orders as rain and safety cars change the race. One good plan beats two fast cars in this take on strategy games, where every pit window and team order is your call.

How to play

1. Press Quick Race for a ready-made plan, or Plan a Race to set each car's starting tyres, pit lap and pit tyres yourself.
2. Watch tyre wear and the forecast — worn slicks in rain lose about 12 seconds a lap.
3. Mid-race, change pace per car, tap Pit Now to pick fresh or WET tyres, or use Swap when your cars run together.
4. Pit under a safety car for a half-price stop, then finish with both cars scoring team points.

Tips

• Start Lena on SOFT with a lap 5 stop for MEDIUM, and Theo on MEDIUM with a lap 6 stop for SOFT — the balanced two-car split.
• Keep a stop in hand when rain is forecast: rivals that pit for WET tyres will fly past slick runners.
• Swap is free when your cars run within 4 places — use it to put the faster car ahead before the final laps.
• Daily mode uses the same date-seeded race for everyone, so a good strategy is worth replaying.
