About this game

Crank, wind and wake a workshop of wind-up toys in Wind-Up Workshop, a cheerful idle game where every turn of the crank earns parts, unlocks mechanisms, and powers a Rewind that starts you stronger. One of the most hands-on browser games for players who like progress they can feel.

How to play

1. Press Play, then press the big red CRANK button, hold it, drag the brass wheel on the stage, or press Space or C.
2. Cranks charge the toy you picked; a fully wound toy marches and pays a bonus in parts.
3. Spend parts on mechanisms like the Stronger Spring and Gear Train to make every crank stronger.
4. At 50 cranks, 1 toy wound, and 100 parts earned, press Rewind to earn Brass Stars and start the next run stronger.
5. Try the Daily Challenge for a date-seeded goal and bonus, and check your top-5 Rewinds on the board.

Tips

• Hold the crank button to keep cranking without tapping over and over.
• Wind the cheapest toy first for a fast bonus, then save for the Gear Train for steady parts per second.
• Rewind as soon as it unlocks early on; Brass Stars make every later run faster.
