Mushroom Hollow is a cozy foraging game where you wander a sunny autumn hollow with Fern, inspect tricky lookalikes before you pick, and fill your basket before dusk in this relaxing browser games pick for all ages. Safe mushrooms earn points and combos, poison first-taps only earn a warning, and every run ends with a shareable recap, a local top-5 board, and a career rank from Rookie to Legend.

How to play

1. Move Fern with WASD or arrow keys, drag on the hollow, or use the on-screen direction buttons.
2. Walk up to a mushroom and press Space or tap Collect to pick it. The first good mushroom always spawns right beside Fern.
3. Stand close to a tricky mushroom and Fern inspects it: a green check means safe, a red cross means poison.
4. Picking a poison mushroom the first time only marks it with a cross. Picking it again after the warning costs a strike.
5. Fill your basket to win: 12 in Free Run, 10 in the seeded Daily hollow, or 8 with no timer in Relaxed mode.
6. Three strikes, or dusk arriving before your basket is full, ends a timed run.

Tips

• Inspect before you pick: the pale lookalikes copy a safe mushroom at a distance but always reveal a cross up close.
• Chain quick picks to build a combo bonus, and watch for a milestone callout every 4 good mushrooms.
• In Relaxed mode there is no dusk timer, so take your time learning every mushroom shape.
