About this game

Scout & Ghost is a two-player maze escape where Sable the fox Scout sees the maze, Wisp the Ghost sees the traps, and together they guide Ember the lantern sprite to the exit in this cheerful browser games pick for friends and families. Play together on one keyboard with WASD and arrow keys, or solo with a bot partner, and take on the date-seeded Daily Maze alongside Free Run.

How to play

1. Tap Play Together for two players, Solo as Scout, Solo as Ghost, or Daily Maze for today's seeded mazes.
2. Scout moves Ember with WASD. Only the Scout panel shows the maze walls, so Scout calls the turns.
3. Ghost plants warning flags with the arrow keys. Only the Ghost panel shows the red traps, so Ghost calls the danger.
4. If Ember steps on a trap, Ghost gets a short save window: press any arrow key to ward it, or Ember loses a heart.
5. Reach the glowing green exit to clear the level, collect shards, and climb from Rookie to Legend.

Tips

• Talk out loud: Scout calls the turns, Ghost calls the traps. Silent teams walk into traps.
• A warning flag lasts a few seconds, so re-flag a trap if Scout hesitates before passing it.
• In Solo as Ghost, watch the bot Scout's path: it will walk straight onto marked traps unless you save Ember.
• Coins sit near the safe route, so a short detour for shards is worth it when hearts are full.
